Set Up The ESCORT MobileTV receiver requires an initial charge for it to work correctly. To charge the device, simply connect the small end of the USB charging cable (included) to the ESCORT MobileTV receiver and plug the other end into a standard USB jack on a computer or other charging device. Please allow it to charge for approximately 3-5 hours on this initial charge. The red charging light will turn green when fully charged. |

Battery Charging For maximum viewing time, recharge the battery before each use, until the charging light turns green. While viewing Live TV, you can go to the Settings menu to check battery % charge remaining, or simply tap the screen while viewing to bring up a charge level indicator. Note - The ESCORT MobileTV is not designed for passthrough charging. |

Software ESCORT MobileTV utilizes the "iDTV USA" app from the Apple App Store. To get started, simply search for this app and install it on your device. Once installed, the iDTV application will communicate with your ESCORT MobileTV device. |

Watch Live Digital TV Broadcasts Once you've downloaded the app and installed it, plug the ESCORT MobileTV receiver into your device and launch the app. NOTE: If you launch the app without plugging the ESCORT MobileTV receiver into the device, you will get a brief error message letting you know the device is not connected. |

Operating the ESCORT MobileTV |

Automatic Channel Scanning ESCORT MobileTV will automatically select the location you are in through the location services feature on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If the location services feature is disabled on your device, you can still manually select your location before performing an automatic scan. Go to the "Settings>Scan Channels" to select your metropolitan area, and start the scan. Once the scanning is done, there will be a Channel List generated which can be found on Live TV. |

Locations and Channel List You can create auto-scan locations if you travel to other regional areas where Dyle™ broadcast is available. Simply go to the "Settings>Sort Channels" page to manually sort your channel list. You can arrange your favorite channels so that they are close to one another for easier channel switching. |

Pause Resume You can select Pause and Resume for up to ten minutes during Live TV. |

Battery Switching While viewing Live TV on an iPad you can extend viewing time by selecting which battery (device or iPad) powers the MobileTV device. Go to "Settings>Battery" to select your preference. |
