When I had an older Escort radar detector, I had the system professionally wired into my fuse box for a very clean install so that I did not have to deal with lots of wires hanging around everywhere.

Now that I have upgraded to a newer model of detector the power plugs are not the same as what I have installed in the car. I really did not want to pay to have this done once again so I was relieved to find that I could get this interface cord to adapt my old power cord to the new radar detector. This was an extremely easy and affordable solution to my problem. Now I can use my old wiring with my new radar detector with no problems.
