I sometimes use my Passport 7500 in a work vehicle that I share with other employees. I wanted just a simple power cord that I could run neatly in the car and leave in it that did not cost a fortune since it was not my car.

This 12 foot long straight power cord was just what I needed. The long straight design was perfect for running along the dash so that it was out of the way when others drove the car. But I still have a quick easy power source that I can plug my radar detector into when I am the one taking it out for the day.

Of course some of the others like how it runs other Passport and Escort models and they are using it too for their radar detector when they are driving the vehicle so it has worked out well for most of us.
