ESCORT and Dyle™ Mobile TV Bring Live Television to iOS Devices

ESCORT Inc., and Dyle™ Mobile Content Venture (MCV), today announced the availability of a new device with Dyle mobile TV technology, the ESCORT MobileTV™ accessory for iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch devices. This new mobile TV compatible receiver will give consumers access to live, local broadcast television on their iOS devices via the iDTV app, currently available in the Apple App Store.

New York, NY December 19, 2012 -- "ESCORT is pleased to be working with Dyle mobile TV to provide a unique viewing experience enabling our consumers to watch a wide range of TV without requiring WiFi or tapping into their wireless data plans," said John Larson, CEO of ESCORT. "MobileTV is one more example in a line of many where ESCORT continues to help our customers drive smarter."

"We are excited to provide live television on-the-go to a wider audience of iOS users," said Salil Dalvi and Erik Moreno, co-General Managers of MCV. "In addition to ESCORT, we are looking forward to building on our relationships to introduce more consumers to the Dyle technology."

The ESCORT MobileTV includes an ATSC-Mobile tuner and a built-in rechargeable battery and works with Dyle to deliver live entertainment, sports and breaking news from supported stations around the United States. Users can access more than 90 stations in 35 markets, reaching approximately 55 percent of the U.S. population.

ESCORT MobileTV utilizes the "iDTV USA" app from the Apple App Store. After downloading this app, ESCORT MobileTV will automatically select the location of the user through the location services on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. If the location services feature is disabled on the device, the user can still manually select its location before performing an automatic scan to find mobile TV channels available in the userís area.
