Driving smarter isn't always easy, but with our unique detector capabilities to receive regular updates, you can have the ultimate peace of mind on the roads now and in the future.  

Benefits of Radar Detector Updates 

Our updates improve the overall performance of your detector, including new false alert filtering software for Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS) or Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) systems in many vehicles that can cause frequent false alerts with other detectors. Upgrades can also improve response time and/or sensitivity so you’ll have more time to react to signals and be more aware of your surroundings. 

All Escort detectors include built-in GPS, advanced false alert filtering software, and automatic Defender Database updates for red light and speed camera locations to make sure that you always have the most up-to-date and accurate information.  

To top it all off, drivers can control all device features, alerts, and settings using our companion app for Android and iOS phones, whether you’re using the older ESCORT Live app or our new Drive Smarter® app. 

How to Get the Updates for your Escort Radar Detector 

If you have a connected Escort detector like the Redline 360c, MAXcam 360c, MAX 360c MKII or any other older Escort connected detector with built-in Wi-Fi, downloads are available directly to your device if it’s connected to a Wi-Fi access point. If you are taking advantage of the Wi-Fi connection in your vehicle or your home, you will be prompted for the update once it becomes available. 

For non-connected detectors like the MAX 360 MKII and MAX 3, or if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, a manual download is available to load onto your detector using a USB connection with your PC or Mac. To do this, visit the Update Your Device page and find your model in the dropdown list. Download the Detector Tools Pro software and follow the steps to connect your detector via a USB cable and install the new update.
