Note: We have changed the size of the suction cups over the years. If your old cups do not have a “quick release tab”, the new suction cups will not fit the old mount.

Expensive but Good

I tried to use aftermarket suction cups to save some money but they kept falling out of the bracket when it wasn't attached to the windshield. These are really expensive but work like intended.

Q: I need new suction cups for my Passport 9500IX. I don't understand on your Note If your old cups do not have a “quick release tab”, the new suction cups will not fit the old mount. What is a quick release tab?

A: These suction cups work with the mount Item # 79-000562-01 - In that product page you can see that the following units are compatible.

Works with detector models: 4600, 4500, 5000, 6800, 7500, 7500s, 8500, 8500 x-50, x-70, x-80, 9500ix, 9500i, Passport, S2, S3, SC55, C-65, RD5110, RedLine (classic)

Note: Not for Escort iX, SmartRadar, or Passport iQ

You can also opt to purchase the windshield mount with suction cups (escortradar.com/products/windshield_mount_with_suction_cups) or look at the sticky cup mount options for your detector.
